Touch or tilt? Picking the right control scheme
Every racer and flight game hands you the same choice: touch buttons or tilt the phone. There's no universally right answer, but there is a right answer for you.
Touch controls give precision. When a track has tight corners or you need to place your car exactly, on-screen steering wins. The downside is your thumbs cover part of the screen, which can hide the action.
Tilt feels more immersive and frees up the display, but it's fussy about your posture. Play lying down and it falls apart. Most tilt games let you recalibrate the neutral position — do it, and do it in the posture you actually play in.
My honest recommendation is to try both for at least one full session each before deciding. Muscle memory forms fast, and switching later feels awful.
And check the settings for sensitivity sliders. A control scheme that felt broken at default often becomes perfect after two small adjustments.
