Iron Frontier

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Iron Frontier drops you on a hostile map with a handful of workers and a lot of decisions. The core loop is classic build-and-expand, but the twist is the supply system — factories are useless if you can't route resources to them, and enemies love to cut your lines.

On phone this could have been a mess, but the interface holds up. Dragging supply routes with your finger feels natural once you learn it, and pinch-zoom never got in my way. Battles are fast enough that a single skirmish won't eat your afternoon.

It does ask a lot of your battery during longer maps — the world stays fully simulated, so my phone warmed up after about forty minutes. Lower the frame cap in settings if that bothers you. For strategy fans, it's an easy recommendation.
