Neon Drift Club

Neon Drift Club knows exactly what it is: a loud, colorful arcade racer built around holding a drift as long as you dare. There's no pretense of simulation here, and that's a compliment. Tapping the brake to break traction and feathering the throttle to keep sliding feels fantastic once it clicks.

You get both tilt and touch steering, and honestly both are viable. I preferred touch for precision on the tighter tracks, but tilt is more fun on the wide-open highway stages. The car unlock pace is generous without becoming a chore.

Heads up on battery: this is the most demanding game on our list. The lighting effects are pretty but hungry, so plug in for long sessions or drop the visual quality one notch. Even scaled down it looks great.
